British Computer Society IT Industry Awards6th December 2007The British Computer Society IT Industry Award for the Public Sector, for which the Electronic Social Care Record (ESCR) project at Dorset County Council was shortlisted (the technical component of which was managed by Anthony Lewis of End to End Consulting), was awarded to Rotheram Metropolitan Borough Council for their joint venture with BT. Congratulations to the Rotherham team. Computing Magazine Awards for Excellence8th November 2007The Computing Magazine Public Sector Project of the Year award, for which the ShARE project at Dorset County Council, managed by Anthony Lewis of End to End Consulting, had been shortlisted, was awarded to the NHS Connecting for Health project at a gala event at Battersea Park Arena, London. Congratulations to the Connecting for Health team. Local Authority Project short listed for Computing Awards for Excellence.1st October 2007The ShARE Electronic Document and Record Management project at Dorset County Council has been shortlisted in the category of Public Sector Project of the Year at the 2007 Computing Magazine Awards. The project, which was managed by Anthony Lewis of End to End Consulting, has already won a national prize for Innovation, awarded by Exor Corporate and Surveyor Magazine. The award refers to the deployment of the ShARE EDRMS, integrated with the Exor Public Enquiry Manager highway management system, which dramatically improved resolution times for highway queries and complaints, and led to significant internal efficiencies in the County Council's Highways Division. Local Authority Project short listed for British Computer Society (BCS) IT Industry Award.24th September 2007The Electronic Social Care Record (ESCR) project at Dorset County Council has been selected as a finalist in the 2007 BCS IT Industry Awards in the category of Organisational Excellence. The project, which is delivering the transition of social care records across Dorset from paper to electronic case files, involved a significant Business Process Re-engineering effort, and the development of several interfaces for social workers and admin staff using web-services. Anthony Lewis of end to end consulting managed the technical components of the ESCR project, in addition to the ShARE Electronic Document & Record Management (EDRM) programme that provided the underpinning technology platform, and was delighted at the project's short listing: 'the success of this project is due to the commitment of the Adult Services staff involved, and the simple, elegant, and thorough way in which the ShARE project team approached the specification and development of the system interfaces and involved the future users of the system at every stage.' Exor Corporation Global Conference21st June 2007Anthony Lewis, end to end's managing consultant, is speaking at Exor Corporation's Global Conference in Bristol, UK, on information management best practice in the public sector. The illustrative case study will be the integrated deployment of Dorset County Council's ShARE Electronic Document & Record Management System (EDRMS) in the County Council's Highways Division - part of a successful programme which he managed for the Authority. |
